Here’s what people have to say about Lady Andorina…

This was one of the highlights of our trip through Scotland. The boat is beautiful and the restaurant next-door is a unique experience. Highly recommended.

Really cool spot to stay for the night and the pub next door is awesome.

Hey Steve, great place you have got, it was a pleasure being there, morning was amazing. Also your tip of going to the canal and the waterfall was great we did go there and it was amazing. Thanks!

If you are anywhere near this location and you do not seek out this experience you are REALLY missing something. The ship is an AMAZING place to spend the night. I mark it as one of the high points of our trip to Scotland. Incredibly beautiful onboard - the woodwork! My 6 foot husband was extremely comfortable in the bunk bed. And the Eagle barge next door was an experience to be had. In a storm with gale force winds we slept like a baby. Host Steve is the kind of guy that would give you the shirt off his back and the shoes off his feet!

Sleeping in a boat is indeed an unique experience. The location is outstanding and the floating pub a blessing. The boat has everything you could need and Steve makes you feel like home. The public shower was clean and had hot water. I totally recommend!!

We did enjoy our stay at this very memorable place. We loved staying in Steve's boat. He is very helpful and humorous. Sleeping on a boat was a very nice and extraordinary experience and Steve's boat is a very comfortable and tidy place. That made it easy to feel at home. Thanks!

If you want a unique experience when traveling the highlands, this is the place. Situated on a canal between two mountains/very large hills, the scenery is beautiful and you're away from some of the commercialism that comes with highlands. Everything on the boat was clean, coffee and tea available. Steve was friendly and the beds were comfortable. Would definitely recommend!
Tyler, September 2018

Perfectly located on the Great Glen Way, Steve's boat is a great place for a memorable stay. The boat is lovely, Steve friendly and the pub floating right next to it makes the experience just fantastic. Would absolutely recommend to stay here.
Becky, September 2018

Steve’s boat was awesome! We really enjoyed our stay and hanging with the other guests. The boat had everything we needed and is in such a picturesque spot. The Great Glen Way that goes right past the boat makes for a good morning run along the canal.

We enjoyed our stay! Beautiful scenery, comfy beds, stocked kitchen (with coffee and tea too), all bed linens. Steve was great!

The night at the boat was super exiting and absolutely worth it! We sat for hours on the boat even though it was raining! We would definitely book again. Thank u for having us.

We travelled two families, four children, and Lady Andorina was the perfect stay for us! A beautiful place, great service, cosy beds & the children really loved it! An extra plus for the possibility to sneak in to the boat - local pub - next to us for a drink before bedtime. We highly recommend Lady Andorina and Steve’s hospitality!

How many can say their host literally gave them the coat off their back? Don’t expect the same but when the airline lost my luggage Steve literally gave me the coat he was wearing. The houseboat was an awesome adventure for our 5 kids and a great stop between Fort William and Skye. Truly a unique place to stay with a fabulous host!

This was our first time staying on a boat overnight and had no idea what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised by how spacious the living area was below deck, with the cabins being cosy but not uncomfortable (even my partner who is 6’4” could fit in the bed!). We brought our young dog with us who loved exploring all the levels and corners of this boat and soon got his sea legs! We thoroughly enjoyed all the little quirks of staying on the boat. Steve was friendly and relaxed, and communication was fast...would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a unique experience set amongst the beautiful backdrop of the canal and rolling green hills!
Naomi, June 2018

We had a lovely stay on Steve's boat. Comfortable bunk beds in the cabin, quiet quarters, and breakfast on deck. Highly recommended if you want to have the lochs, the locks and the highlands on your doorstep (gangplank).
Therese, May 2018

We only stayed one night on Steve's boat and it was a wonderful experience to sleep on this boat full of history! We also had a great time eating on Eagle barge Cafe which is just next to Steve's boat.
Fabien, May 2018

Really unique experience, and the boat has a great story behind it. Steve is very welcoming, open and helpful. Great place to sleep while going to highlands. Family friendly :)
Kasia, May 2018

Steve is such a great host, his boat is really beautiful and comfy, there is a warm place to chill: I felt like home. The bar-restaurant is the boat just next door, the lock is really pretty and landscapes around amazing! Best night ever in a boat!
Sista, April 2018

Sleeping in this grand old lady was a great experience. Steve is a kind person and was very welcoming during our journey. Moreover, next to the Lady Andorina, the pub « Eagle barge » is a value add for travellers ! Great food and beer! We will come back to see the lady and Steve again!
Ville, April 2018

Had an amazing trip - Steve went out of his way to ensure my guests and I had a wonderful experience. He fully furnishes the place: washer/dryer, full kitchen, and fresh towels. This is a fantastic way to experience Loch Lochy without breaking the bank.
Wenjia, April 2018

We have a great stay in Steve's boat! The landscape was amazingly beautiful and peaceful. Steve was very helpful and friendly making us feel like home. Our boys enjoyed this part of our road trip in Scotland more than any other. A stay to remember. Highly recommended!

What a fun place to spend a night or two. Five of us rolled up for a stay in this hidden gem. What a cool experience that we will surely be talking about for a long time to come. Lovely and warm, a great and friendly host, Steve, and such a unique setting. A cosy common area and lovely cabin style beds made it such an authentic experience.

This place is the perfect spot for a group of friends to spend the weekend together sharing good food, laughter and enjoying walks in the breathtaking Great Glen. Steve lives on the boat and is a fantastic host. The kitchen is well equipped with all you need for cooking. A wonderful social space on the top of the boat, Steve provides a Bluetooth speaker and leaves you to it in the evenings. The shower/toilet block is heated - complete luxury - and not too far from the boat. Toilets on the boat are clean and easy to use. The boat is on the doorstep to two fantastic Munroes, and plenty of walking routes. I have to say that Steve really went above and beyond in his hospitality for our group. We appreciated it so much. Thanks Steve :)
Rachel, March 2018

The boat has a fantastic location, between the two lochs and surrounded by mountains. A great experience with a unique charm. Steve is a wonderful host.
Pia, March 2018

Staying the night on Steve’s traditional sailing boat was one of our greatest experiences on our Scotland Trip - fully recommended
